Promising new US Co-Head of Investigations at Norton Rose Fullbright

Norton Rose Fulbright announces the appointment of Sandeep Savla as co-head of the U.S. Regulatory, Investigations, Securities and Compliance practice

Savla, a partner in the New York office, will share leadership with Washington partner Kevin Harnisch.

Savla's practice focuses on civil and criminal, securities, tax and financial products litigation.

Savla joined the English-based firm five months ago. He has a long career working in law firms, having spent five years at Latham & Watkins, where he ended up as a partner. He has worked with foreign clients, financial institutions and accounting firms, among others.

Licensed in New York and England and Wales, Savla earned an LL.M. from Stanford Law School, an LL.M. from King's College London and a B.A. from Oxford University.

The firm's US managing partner Jeff Cody has confirmed that Savla "has quickly become an integral part of the team", and expects both Savla and Harnisch to successfully lead their department.

Steve Jansma, head of Norton Rose Fullbright's US litigation and disputes practice, said that Savla has "an impressive track record of assisting clients through complex litigation and investigations", noting that his experience working for private and public organisations in New York and London gives him a unique perspective that will benefit the firm and clients.

"Norton Rose Fulbright's global investigations team advises clients on all aspects of regulatory and compliance issues, investigations and litigation. I look forward to working with Kevin to shape our strategy related to the changing legal and regulatory landscape," said Savla.
