As Singapore continues to strengthen its position as a crucial business hub in the Asia-Pacific region, many international law firms are looking to increase their implementation and presence in the city

The latest significant development comes from King & Wood Mallesons (KWM): the new signing of Herber Smith Freehills' private equity partner in its Singapore office, Nicola Yeomans. 

While Yeomans will join the KWM team in early 2022, her signing will greatly strengthen the firm's strategic presence in Singapore and Asia. Yomans is a safe bet: with extensive experience in the private equity, private capital and M&A industry (including complex transactions in Southeast Asia and India), she has been recognised by Chambers Global, Chambers Asia Pacific, Legal 500 and Who's Who Legal.

Wang Junfeng, KWM's global chairman emphasised the importance of Yeomans' addition to the firm's expansion in the Asian region:

This team is expected to ensure the firm's operational success in competitive markets such as Australia, China and Hong Kong.
