Interview to Lexub's co-founders: the lawyers' marketplace

---

The Impact Lawyers interviews Maizorig Janchivdorj, co-founder of Lexub and Zolo Mundur, co-founder and CEO of Lexub, a platform that serves as a marketplace for lawyers to publish self-drafted legal documents and sell them at an affordable price

1. What is the main objective of Lexub?

To create the largest online library of legal documents across jurisdictions., languages, and categories.

2. What are the challenges faced by a project like Lexub?

Client acquisition is a bit challenging because lawyers, in general, tend to be cautious of innovations and lawyers from some countries are reluctant to use platforms like ours fearing that it will breach their professional rules.

3. Has Lexub encountered stiff competition from legal publishers, which also offer forms and other documents to lawyers?

For now, we haven't become big enough to compete with big legal publishers. However, it is our goal to democratize the legal document landscape so that lawyers can freely trade their example documents instead of relying solely on single-sourced legal publishers.

4. How do you control the confidential information of the documents that are stored in Lexub?

We advise our lawyers to remove any confidential, sensitive, and client information before publishing them and to comply with their respective professional rules.

5. How important is connectivity and interaction between international lawyers? What interests do two international lawyers have in connecting on the same platform?

Connectivity and interaction between international lawyers can result in insight sharing and lead to creating a referral network. Connections made with global lawyers on Lexub can open the door to new leads in new markets.

6. To which regions would you like to expand the business?

We are a global platform. But, we'd like to be more active in North America in the near future.
