BonelliErede is focusing its attention on the African and Middle East markets with the incorporation of two of counsel who will work to promote the Italian firm's brand in these regions. Specifically, BonelliErede has 49 professionals in Africa

They are Calvin Walker and Ezequiel Sánchez Herrera, professionals with an extensive professional career. Walker, a former partner and global head of Baker McKenzie's project finance department, has more than 25 years of experience in project finance. He will join BonelliErede on 8 March.

Sánchez Herrera, on the other hand, has worked at Cleary Gottlieb in the New York office and has more than two decades of experience in matters between states and governmental firms. He has also worked on transactional matters, as well as international arbitration and sovereign debt restructuring. Sánchez Herrera's appointment as a senior member of BonelliErede's Africa team is immediate.
